Eleanor Hamilton of Eleanor's Arabian Farm Named President of National Organization(Rogers, MN) Eleanor Hamilton has been re-elected President of the Arabian Reining Horse Association. The organization is dedicated to encouraging the development of and public interest in the promotion, exhibition and enjoyment of the Arabian Reining Horse. Eleanor Hamilton grew up on a commercial cattle ranch in western Nebraska. She attended the University of Nebraska where she garnered a degree in secondary education and English. In 1970 she bought her first Arabian and in 1984 built a training facility in Rogers, Minnesota. Eleanor's Arabian Farm breeds and trains Arabian and Half-Arabian horses in western pleasure and reining. The breeding program uniquely combines Arabian and Quarter horse bloodlines to produce nationally competitive working western horses. Eleanor has a long list of accomplishments from various areas. She has earned 6 National Top Tens in AOTR Reining and has served as a Director of the Minnesota Arabian Horse Breeders Association. She is currently serving as Secretary for the Breeders Association and has done so for several years. She, with her husband Harold, own a 30 year-old business that designs and manufacturers test and burn-in equipment for the semiconductor industry. There she serves as the Director of Human Resources and Treasurer for the 170-employee company. She also oversees the Accounting and Marketing departments. The Arabian Reining Horse Association is a nationally recognized organization that is affiliated with both the International Arabian Horse Association and the National Reining Horse Association. Other Board members include April Sampson, Audrey Zinke, Phyllis LaMalfa, Russ Brown and Debbie Compilli and past President Mary Jane Brown.
