Eleanor's Arabian
Farm's goal is to produce horses with the traits and confirmation
that will make them good reining and western pleasure horses that
can compete in ARHA, AHA, or NRHA classes. Our breeding program centers
around two disciplines: reining and western pleasure, both purebred
and Half-Arab. Hesa Zee+/ and Crown Musc+ are being used on each other's daughters, and while the oldest is now four, the body structure and disposition is what we want. Crown Musc+, retired, and Hesa Zee+/, semi-retired, both shown by an amateur, always know their place, nice and quiet. They reside side by side, greet everyone at the front of the stall, just like all the mares and babies do. For more information on the Xenophonn breeding program, see the article on Miller Arabians in the February 2001 issue of the Arabian Horse World Magazine. See our Stallions Standing at Stud. The Half-Arabian breeding program crosses known
Quarter horse bloodlines to our purebred stallions and Quarter
horse stallions to our purebred mares. The Half-Arabians we produce
have proven to be western pleasure and reining horse champions
like Lord
of the Dance, River
of Dreams, Miss Alley Cat, and Miss Hesa Bar. We are
using primarily Hollywood Jac and Colonel Freckles bloodlines on
the Quarter horse side and *Muscat and Xenophonn bloodlines on
the Arabian side. Quarter horse reining
stallion CG Colonel
Jac has been added to enhance the EAF Half-Arabian reining
program. |
